Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage is another way to keep information on your device. Both can support login, preferences and continuity between visits. Local storage generally remains until cleared, unlike cookies which may expire automatically.

2. What the application stores

• Authentication and security: our authentication provider stores session information to keep you signed in and protect access to your account. Session information is refreshed or expires according to the authentication session; signing out removes the active local session.
• Language preference: landing:lang stores your selected language for the landing and Billing FAQ pages. It remains until you change it or clear site data.
• Customer chat continuity: chat:<businessId> stores the chat state, including conversation identifiers, messages and language, for the business you visit. It remains until site data is cleared. On a shared device, clear this storage after your chat if you do not want later users to see it.

These support authentication or functionality you request, rather than advertising. Infrastructure providers may also use strictly necessary cookies for security, traffic routing or checkout. Paddle’s hosted checkout and billing portal use their own storage under Paddle’s policies.

3. Analytics and marketing

The application does not currently set optional analytics or marketing cookies, and does not use advertising trackers. If optional tracking is introduced, we will update this policy and obtain prior consent where required, with a way to withdraw or change your choice. Essential technologies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request.

4. Managing browser storage

Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage for this site. You can change your language with the page’s language selector and sign out to end your account session. Clearing site data resets local preferences and chat continuity, but does not delete records already held by the business or cancel a subscription.
